Today, PJI I we had our very first prevention program session in a village in northern Thailand.
PJI believe in a holistic approach to combating human trafficking in this generation. Implementing prevention programs in at-risk villages is a great tool to minimise the possibility of trafficking in the future.
Our prevention program focuses on educating and empowering the children in the village to believe in their dreams, to know they are valued and loved, and to care for each other.
Today, the day was filled with joy, laughter, love and games.
Our team focused our first session on creating relationships, breaking down barriers and building trust within this amazing community.
Earlier in the week, some awesome volunteers from our PJI team travelled to the village to prepare the facilities.
